Horror

Fear is not a state of mind, but merely an emotion like any other. Laughter, crying, euphoria. Terror. Your skin crawls, something creeps down your spine, you hear a whisper in the other room, the floorboards creak for no reason, something in the dark falls and shatters the silence. Palpitations. If you're lucky – cold sweat, panic, adrenaline. Lucky? And why not? "But what's so great about fear, what's so fun about being scared?" And what's so great about death and separation? And what things do we have only because of death and separation! Would there even be poetry, cinema, literature, if there was no one to die and no one to leave, if there was no one to bear such an action? Still, we won't talk about such fears, they are too serious. No. Terror. Horror! Creaking sounds and scary movies, guts and red paint, teeth, claws and flying limbs! It's absurd. What's not to like about it?
