Harry Potter (English: Harry Potter) is a series of seven fantasy novels written by British author J. K. Rowling.
The "Harry Potter" novels are, in short, the story of a boy adopted by a family who doesn't love him. A lonely boy with no friends, who one day learns that his deceased parents were wizards, that he himself is a wizard, and enters a magical world of fairy tales. A boy who, in this world, confronts the most powerful dark wizard in the world – the monstrous Voldemort – who has committed many evil deeds, including the murder of Harry's parents. From here begins a magical race against evil, as Harry is never alone; he has his newfound friends at the wizarding school and his teachers.
The novels are written engagingly, with vivid language that makes you feel as if you are there, to step into the characters' shoes. And the world of "Harry Potter" is forged from knowledge of mythologies and many books read (it contains a myriad of magical creatures, some from ancient myths, others from children's fairy tales) and from fantasy, fantasy, and more fantasy. Rowling manages to create an entire world of newly invented magic, to weave existing myths into a perfectly new amalgam, further perfected with the fruits of her own mind. And the strongest magic in this world is not the product of some magical object like the Philosopher's Stone, the Elder Wand, or other magical relics that Harry encounters in his adventures – the strongest magic, the only magic more powerful than the dark arts of the great Voldemort, is the magic of love.
